Once you have ETH on Soneium, you can simply trade it for nrETH via any of your favourite DEXes on Soneium. ## How can I mint nsASTR? You can mint nsASTR through 2 ways: deposit ASTR on Astar EVM. Or, deposit ASTR on Soneium Mainnet. When you do, you get nsASTR in return on Soneium Mainnet. You can then use it to participate in Soneium DeFi protocols. ## What happens when I use my nsASTR? Do I still get Loyalty Rewards? Yes, even if you use your nsASTR in Soneium DeFi, you continue to earn Loyalty Rewards. This offers users the ability to earn staking rewards from Astar Network’s dApp staking while also having the ability to participate in Soneium DeFi applications for increased rewards. ## **Benefits of staking ASTR with Neemo Finance** * **Optimized Rewards**: By utilizing a design optimized for Astar’s dApp staking, you can achieve the highest possible APR, currently around 20%. This includes both Bonus Rewards and Staking Rewards, maximizing returns. To achieve this, you must deposit yours assets for the full duration of both the Voting Subperiod and the Build & Earn Subperiod. You have to lock your ASTR for 111 + 11 era (days) in Neemo to maximize rewards. You require a waiting period of 10 to 132 days to maximize your rewards * **Instant** **Withdraw:** * Users can receive optimized rewards while having the flexibility to redeem nsASTR for ASTR at any time through Instant withdraw. Instant withdraw allows users to access immediate liquidity on their unstaked ASTR without waiting for the standard unbonding period. Instead of going through the usual withdrawal process, users can instantly redeem their holdings by paying a small fee. This mechanism is made possible by reserving a portion of staked funds within the contract, creating a dedicated liquidity pool. When a user requests an Instant withdraw, no unstaking from dapp staking occurs. Instead, the withdrawn funds are sourced from the user-deposited liquidity pool or the existing liquidity primarily provided by Neemo. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who require immediate access to liquidity, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in asset management. * ex. Let’s assume a simplified scenario * Where 1 nsASTR = 1 ASTR. * The existing Instant withdraw Pool starts with 1M ASTR liquidity and 0 nsASTR. * The fee is set to 0 When a user withdraws nsASTR 1. The user withdraws 500k nsASTR to the contract. 2. The contract sends 500k ASTR minus the withdrawal fee to the user. 3. Final Instant withdraw contract state: 500k ASTR & 500k nsASTR remain in the pool. When a user deposits ASTR 1. The user deposits 750k ASTR into the contract. 2. The contract sends 500k nsASTR from the nsASTR liquidity in the pool and mints 250k nsASTR directly for the user by depositing into dAppStakingManagerL2, so the user receives 750k nsASTR. 3. Final instant withdraw contract state: 1M ASTR & 0 nsASTR, restoring the initial state. if there is an excess deposit amount, it will be deposited into dAppStakingManagerL2 every era (dairy).This mechanism ensures an efficient balance between Instant withdraw liquidity and new minting, enabling seamless deposit and withdrawal operations while optimizing staking rewards. Additionally, it ensures non-custodial automatic liquidity management and replenishment, maintaining a decentralized and efficient system. * **Standard withdraw:** Standard withdraw aligns with Astar’s dApp Staking, requiring a waiting period of 10 to 132 days. This ensures users receive full rewards, as skipping this process would result in a 5.61% reduction in bonus rewards. Thus our nsASTR reward is the highest. * **DeFi** **Utilization**: Neemo’s nsASTR exists as a DeFi primitive. Therefore, it is expected to be utilized in DeFi protocols. We aim to increase the utility of nsASTR by collaborating with major DeFi protocols such as DEX, lending, perpetuals, yield optimizers, and yield splitting protocols. This ensures users do not miss out on EtherFi rewards. While this integration increases the unbonding time you benefit from Ether.fi rewards while maintaining Soneium exposure through the nrETH liquid token. Note that the Ether.fi vault offers attractive yields but comes with associated risks, such as impermanent loss and liquidation. The assets are transferred to Ethereum mainnet, staked on [Ether.fi](http://Ether.fi), and nrETH is minted on Soneium. ### **Withdrawals** You can withdraw nrETH using two methods: * **Standard Withdrawal:** Burn your nrETH on Soneium. The calculation is strictly based on the nsASTR amount. # Loyalty Badge NFTs We’re issuing a total of 500 Loyalty Badge NFTs to our users. When you stake your ASTR, you earn staking rewards, bonus rewards (from the 2 subperiods), and boosted rewards from our [Loyalty Program](broken://pages/0A0l4gGMKUTCLUp7IvZ8). ## Step 1: Head to Neemo Finance App Head to the app [here](https://app.neemo.finance/stake/astar). Click on “Connect Wallet”. You can use any wallet of your choice for this. Once you have connected your wallet, you can select the amount of ASTR that you wish to stake.
## Step 2: Enter the amount you wish to stake. Enter the amount you wish to stake. Ensure that you have a little amount for gas saved up in your wallet. Click on "Stake". Approve the request in your wallet.
## Step 3: Check your nsASTR balance in the left pane. You can check how much ASTR you've staked in the left pane. You can either stake more or create withdrawal requests.
## Step 4: Initiate withdrawal request When you stake your assets they get Timelocked for the entire 121-day period for both the Voting and Build\&Earn Subperiods. While you cannot instantly withdraw your assets, you can initiate Withdrawal Requests. To do that, toggle the “Withdraw” tab. Enter the amount you wish to unstake.
Click on “Withdraw”. Once you have initiated the withdrawal request, it will reflect in the “Pending Requests” queue. You can decide to alter the withdrawal amount or cancel any of the requests. Use the slider to do it!
To stake and/or withdraw your ASTR on Native, follow the same process. The best part? You earn staking rewards even after you have submitted the unstaking request! # How to mint nsASTR from Astar EVM (L1) to Soneium Mainnet (L2) If you have already staked your ASTR on Astar EVM, you can mint nsASTR on Soneium. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide on how to do it. #### Step 1: Head to the app. Head to app.neemo.finance. Connect your wallet. If you’ve already staked ASTR, you’ll get an option to mint on L2 in the left pane.
#### Step 2: Mint nsASTR on Minato. Click on “Mint on L2” button to begin the minting process. Approve the request in your wallet. It takes about 5-10 minutes for the minting process to go through.
#### Step 3: Switch to Soneium Network. Now, you must switch to Soneium Network to see the nsASTR in your wallet. Select the Soneium network from the dropdown in the top-right.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll see nsASTR balance on the screen.
#### Step 4: Add nsASTR to Wallet. Scroll down to add your nsASTR to MetaMask/wallet of your choice. You’ll then see nsASTR reflected in your wallet.

Connect your wallet. If you have already staked your ASTR and achieved a tier, your rewards will reflect in the left pane.

# How to Use Soneium Minato Testnet We’re excited for you to mint our nsASTR on Soneium’s Minato Network. You can mint the nsASTR on Minato via two ways: 1. Deposit on testnet L1 chain, which in this case is Shibuya. 2. Deposit on testnet L2 chain, which in this case is Minato. In either case, you deposit your ASTR token from the chain of your choice, and mint nsASTR on Minato. Here’s a quick guide on how to mint nsASTR from both the chains. Let’s dive in. ### How to mint nsASTR from Minato #### Step 1: Get Sepolia ETH. Bridge to Soneium Minato. As a first step, you need to get Sepolia ETH. And bridge it to Minato. Here’s how to do it. Head to the [Alchemy faucet](https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia). Enter your wallet address. And click on “Send me ETH”.
Check your wallet to confirm receipt of Sepolia ETH. Now, head to the [Soneium-Minato Bridge](https://bridge.soneium.org/en/testnet). Connect your wallet. And transfer the desired amount of ETH.
Now you have ETH in your wallet to process transactions on Minato. #### Step 2: Get testnet ASTR from faucet. Head to the Neemo Finance app. Click on “Faucet” in the top-left corner of the screen.
Click on "ASTR on Minato".
#### The requested ASTR will be added to your wallets! Remember to collect some ETH on Minato as well for gas. #### Step 3: Stake your ASTR. Head to the Neemo Finance [app](https://testnet.neemo.finance/l2-stake/astar). Select the “Minato” network from the top-right dropdown. Enter the amount that you wish to stake. And then click on the “Stake” button to process your stake. Once done, click on “Add nsASTR to MetaMask” button in the bottom-right corner. This will add the nsASTR to your MetaMask wallet. Congratulations, now you have minted your nsASTR on MetaMask! ### How to mint nsASTR from Shibuya You can mint nsASTR by directly depositing SBY on Shibuya, which is testnet L1 for Astar Network.
